Aviation Security

Aviation Security Department is responsible for:
  • Safeguarding Georgian Civil Aviation against Acts of Unlawful Interference;
  • Ensuring Constant Supervision and Control over the activities of the airports and aircraft operators with the purpose of prevention of unlawful acts in the sphere of civil aviation;
  • Coordinate and review air safety programs of aviation enterprises on the regular basis;
  • Issuing permits for the crew members of air carriers registered in Georgia and Civil Aviation Agency personnel for entry to controlled and protected areas with restricted access of civil airport(s).
